Cobras Junior Badminton Session Cancellation
30 August 2010
Due to an event at the Centre for Sport the Cobras Junior Badminton Club will be cancelled on Thursday 2nd September. Senior club is on as usual.

Round 3 of our Singles League is over after 47 games were played. It's great to see that of you are managing to complete your games.
The division winners of Round 3 are:

Elmfield Tigers Junior Badminton Club coming up

 The Elmfield Tigers will soon be competing with our West End Cobras for a chance to win the North East Junior Badminton Club League Title. The Tigers are looking for new members and their sessions will start on Mondays from early September 2010.

Singles League - Call for Round 4

Round 4 of our Singles League is coming up on Sunday 29th August. Promotions and demotions for round 3 will be finalised on Sunday 22nd August after any remaining games have been completed. Good luck.
If you are new to the League and want to join in please email Boj (singles@newcastlebadminton.com) by Thursday 26th August 2010. Entries that come after this can join in at the next round.

West End Cobras Junior Badminton Club Opens

 We're proud to open our new Junior section - West End Cobras Junior Badminton Club.
The club welcomes those under 16 years of age every Thursday from 5-7pm.
At club you'll be able to learn and practice the fundamentals of badminton skills and tactics, play games, and for those that want to compete - play for the team in the North-East Junior Club League.

Cancellation of session

The session on Sunday 18/07/10 is cancelled due to a judo tournament being held in the centre that weekend.
Singles League News - Round 3

Round 3 of the Singles League starts from 18th July for 6 weeks. Check your groups on the Singles League page. Remember that you can play your matches outside of club sessions as well but you'll need to arrange those yourselves.

Training Tuesdays : Singles

To support our Singles League training on Tuesdays will be focused on badminton singles skills and tactics. We'll continue with fitness development with the badminton circuit at the start of each session. To find out more about the sessions click on Training Tuesdays, Boj.
